How to Play

Played with 40 cards. The face-up card under the deck sets the briscola (trump) suit. Each trick is worth the points of its cards: Ace 11, Three 10, King 4, Knight 3, Jack 2. Whoever passes 60 points wins.

The trick: the leader plays any card; the others respond with no obligation to follow suit. The highest briscola wins, or with no briscolas the highest card of the suit led (Ace > 3 > King > Knight > Jack > 7...2). The trick winner leads the next one.

Drawing: after each trick everyone draws one card, starting with the trick winner; the last card drawn is the face-up briscola.

2 vs 2: your partner (★) sits opposite you; points are added up per team.

Partner signals (2 vs 2 only): you see your partner's main trump cards and point cards, and they see yours. The opposing pair exchanges its own signals too, and plays accordingly.

The game is saved automatically at the start of each of your turns: if you close the page you can resume where you left off.

FULL GUIDE
Partner Signals

In 2 vs 2, you and your partner can see at a glance which of the 5 main trump cards (Ace, 3, King, Knight, Jack) the other holds, and how many point cards (Aces/3s not in the trump suit) they have in hand. The X means they have no trump cards at all.

The opposing pair exchanges the same signals too, and uses them: the PC players factor it into their choices, just like a human partner would.
