Spider Solitaire Rules

Spider Solitaire is one of the most well-known solitaire card games in the world. It is played with two standard decks (104 cards) and requires patience, strategy, and a bit of luck.

Objective

The goal is to arrange all cards in complete descending sequences (King to Ace) of the same suit. When a complete sequence is formed, it is automatically removed from the table. The game is won when all 8 sequences have been completed.

How to play

To make the game easier, all red cards are shown as hearts and all black cards as spades.
Cards are dealt into 10 columns on the table and 5 face-down piles of 10 cards each.
You can stack cards in descending order, even of different suits.
You can move groups of consecutive cards only if they are of the same suit.
When no more moves are available, a new row of cards is dealt from the deck (all columns must contain at least one card).

How to play "Spider Luciano"

Automatic placement: click on a card to move it automatically to the best position.
Manual placement: drag the card (or group of cards) to the desired column.
Deal new cards: click on one of the piles at the top right.

Buttons

NEW: start a new game.
UNDO: undo the last move.
SCOPERTE (UNCOVERED): show all cards (for practice).
🔊 / 🔇 (Audio): enables or disables the game sound effects. Your preference is saved and applied across all games on the site. Note: if your browser or operating system has muted audio for this tab, sounds will remain silent regardless of this button, as that control is managed by the browser outside the scope of the page.

Tips

Try to free up entire columns as soon as possible: an empty column is a powerful tool for reorganizing cards. Prioritize forming sequences of the same suit.
